Pre-boyfriend, the difficulties inherent in the act of successfully laying very closely next to someone was an unknown unknown, in that it had never even occurred to me there might be issues. I’d been doing it with a stuffed animal for over two decades (#dark), how hard could it be with an actual person? Turns out, medium to really very hard.
Now, cuddling is a known unknow — I know that shit is tricky! If there is a way to spoon without someone’s arm falling asleep, or being forced into some position only achievable by Russian contortionists, I have not yet found it. If anyone has any tips for turning cuddling into a “known known” for me, I’d really effing appreciate it!
